Panasonic Phone Provisioning

 

Panasonic KX-UT113, KX-UT123, KX-UT133, and KX-UT136

1.    Plugin and boot up the phone

2.    Press the “Setting” soft key near the LCD screen

3.    Press the down arrow key until the LCD screen displays and highlights “Network Settings”, then press the “Enter” key.

4.    Press the down arrow key until the LCD screen displays and highlights “Embedded Web”, then press the “Enter” key.

5.    Press the down arrow key until  “On” is displayed, then press the “Enter” key. You will hear a long beep, and it may take the screen a few seconds to go back to displaying “Embedded Web”.

6.    Press the “Back” key until you see “Network Settings” again.

7.    Press the up arrow key until “Information Display” is highlighted, then press the “Enter” key.

8.    Press the down arrow button until “IP Address” is displayed

9.    Take note of the IP Address displayed and write it down.

10. Open your web browser and enter the IP Address that you wrote down into the address bar.

10.1.   You must be on the same local network as the phone in order to be able to access its web server.

11. You will be prompted for a username and password. Enter “admin” as the username and “adminpass” as the password.

12. Click on the “Maintenance” tab at the top of the screen.

13. Click on the “Provisioning Maintenance” link in the left menu.

14. In the field “Standard File URL”, enter:

14.1.    http://sipreg@#$%.com/{pbx-context}/{mac}.cfg

 14.2.   sipreg#$%@.com is the hostname of the provisioning server.

14.3.   {PBX-CONTEXT} is the “context” for the PBX which this phone belongs to

14.4.   {MAC-ADDRESS} is the MAC address found on the back of the phone. Use all lowercase letters.

15. Click “Save” button.

16. Click the “Restart” link in the left menu.

17. Click the “Restart” button on the screen.

18. At this point, the phone will restart and download its configuration file. It will register with the VoIP network and you will be able to start making and receiving calls.

 

Panasonic KX-TGP500

1.    Plugin and boot up the phone

2.    Press the “All” button on the side of the base unit and hold for 4 seconds. The “STATUS” light on the front of the unit will start to flash red.

3.    On the cordless handset, press the “Menu” button.

4.    Use the directional key to highlight the wrench icon “Initial Settings”, then press the “Menu” key.

5.    Press the down key until “Registration” is highlighted, then press the “Menu” key

6.    “Register handset” will be highlighted, press the “Menu” key.

7.    The screen will display “Press ALL on base 4sec Then press OK”. Press the “OK” soft key.

8.    The phone will display “Please wait...”

9.    The screen will refresh and the “STATUS” light on the base unit will turn green.

10. Press “Menu” on the handset. Highlight the toolbox (“IP service”) icon and press “Menu”.

11. “Network setting” will be highlighted, press “Menu”.

12. Scroll down to “Embedded web” and press “Menu”.

13. Highlight “On” and press Save.

14. The phone will have a long beep, then return to the “Embedded web” screen.

15. Scroll up to “IP settings” and press “Menu”

16. The base unit’s IP Address will be displayed. Write this down.

17. Open your web browser and enter the IP Address that you wrote down into the address bar.

17.1.   You must be on the same local network as the phone in order to be able to access its web server.

18. You will be prompted for a username and password. Enter “admin” as the username and “adminpass” as the password.

19. Click on the “Maintenance” tab at the top of the screen.

4.    “Network setting” will be highlighted, press “Select”.

5.    Scroll down to “Embedded web” and press “Select”.

6.    Highlight “On” and press Save.

7.    The phone will have a long beep, then return to the “Embedded web” screen.

8.    Scroll up to “IP settings” and press “Select”

9.    The phone’s IP Address will be displayed. Write this down.
